Shooting this session brought all those wonderful feelings flooding back. I am so grateful at the opportunity to photograph women at this extraordinary stage in their lives. This is my dear friend Heidi and I am so glad she trusted me through this entire session. She is gorgeous, glowing, stunning and completely lucky to be welcoming her third girl into their sweet little family.
Oh yeah, and just for the record this photo above is now topping my all time favorites list. The beauty of this image is that it is 98% au natural... meaning no crazy photoshopping done here! That light, the setting, all done in camera. Except for a slight adjustment to the contrast... what you see is what you get.

ReplyDeleteSo I totally debated about whether to comment on my own pictures - hope this doesn't seem weird - but I just had to post on here how happy I am with the pictures and Michelle's vision! I felt SO worried and awkward during the session, but Michelle was right on and had faith in me and now I am SO happy with the results. You are a genius Michelle, only you could make my huge awkwardness look this good, thanks a ton!!!
